KANATSUの新曲「Far Away」は、厳しい状況の中を必死に生きる人々の内面に寄り添った楽曲
本作は、「ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 ストーンオーシャン」、NHK大河ドラマ「軍師官兵衛」等、数多くの名曲を世の中に送り出している作曲家、菅野祐悟氏の手による作曲であり、また氏の初監督作品、竹中直人主演、映画「DAUGHTER」のエンディング曲でもある。
菅野祐悟氏が、自身の大切な作品に抜擢したKANATSUの包み込むような慈愛に満ちた伸びやかな歌声は、『ポペラ』と呼ばれるポップスとオペラを融合させたこの楽曲の、「祈り」を表現したクラシカルな讃美歌調のオープニングパートと、「命」の躍動を感じさせる壮大なダンスミュージックパートを、見事に調和させることに成功している。
12月1日0時に公開されるMusic Videoでは、菅野祐悟も鍵盤を演奏する姿で出演し、楽曲の世界観に彩りを添えた。
「生きる」とは、大切なものを失いながらそれでも前に進み続けることだと教えてくれる、２０２３年必聴曲。
